I don’t even mind if people are inspired by other people to become something. The problem isn’t that Obama is their inspiration, it’s the idyllic weirdness in which they are expressing being inspired. It’s like they’re pledging their loyalty to some God on earth.
OMG, that takes the creepy cake. It’s hilarious, I’m seeing these sorts of videos pop up all over the interwebs.
Creepy? True! Because of yourself you should want to be a doctor. Not because of freakin’ Obama!
However, I also think bootcamps and military culture are creepy.
