Really Glenn? Do you actually believe this?
If we’re looking towards pieces of legislation like the “Lugar-Obama Nonproliferation Initiative” to support Mr. Obama’s legislative experience, then we have a difficult term ahead of us.
For one, the Lugar-Obama initiative isn’t as much coauthored as it is piggy-backing. The bill is really just a revamping of the Nunn-Lugar program developed in response to Soviet Russia in the early 90s.
Though Obama’s signature may have slightly energized the legislation, let us not forget that Senator Lugar’s important work as the Republican Leader of the Foreign Relations Committee was its impetus.
Next time, do your homework. Endowing one’s Hancock is not ‘real’ experience in any sense of the word.
